Katie and Alexis: Senior Shoot in Washington D.C

Katie and Alexis are 18-year-old twin girls full of spunk, joy, and laughter. Taking their senior pictures on a 70 degree day in Washington D.C was fantastic, and a ton of fun. Thank you for hiring me girls. :)

$75 spring sessions! {Update}

Yes, I'm alive. And yes, I'm still a photographer. In case you've noticed that the past posts on my blog have collected dust, or that the "new post" update for my blog is in depression, I have my reasons. Although this blog might be just slightly dead, my photography business is not ;)

If you are graduating in 2013, I want to take you senior pictures! I have numerous senior sessions already booked for the spring, and the interest people have shown (despite my failing to post recent work) has encouraged me to pursue photography more this coming year. I must say, my preference has always been to take pictures of people by themselves. There's an art to taking just one individuals pictures, something I enjoy immensely.

So, here's the details!

Price: $75

The shoot usually lasts around 45 minutes to an hour, and the location & time is all your choice.

I'm keeping my price low because I really want to fill up my photography resume as best I can this year, and I need your help doing it. Even if you're not a senior, and you just want updated shots of yourself, please don't hesitate to send an email my way :)

I'll also charge this $75 fee for family & couple sessions as well. This is not my usual price.. again, my goal is to start this year off with fresh, vibrant pictures. I want to fill my blog with session after session, something I've failed to do for many months now.

This offer will not last long, so please email me at abby.hollandsworth@gmail.com with questions, or if you're interested! I'd love to hear from you!!

Below are a few senior sessions I did this past year, they never made it up on the blog. Enjoy, and have a Happy New Year!

Max + Emma Engagement. [West Chester, Pennsylvania]

-

Last June, I packed my bags and headed to Pennsylvania with my sister, for a four day weekend. I had no idea that many of the people I would meet that weekend would become some of the most generous, loving friends I've ever made. My older sister ended up dating a guy there, and still is to this day. Sometime's I go up North with her to visit, and it's always the best weekends. They're the funnest, craziest group of people I think I've ever met. They give me so much rediculously good food, lots & LOTS of laughter, places to stay, and many memorable trips all over the area. Some of the very first people I met up in West Chester PA was Max Bentley, and Emma Adams. They were both two of the kindest people I've ever gotten to know. I actually met them both before they even met eachother, it's crazy how much has changed since that first weekend in June. Now, they're married.. and I've never seen a couple so in love. A few weeks ago, Max and Emma asked me to shoot their rehearsal dinner. We ended up doing a quick photoshoot during the event, and I love the way the pictures of them turned out.. they were so natural. Enjoy :)

Mr. and Mrs. Lopez. [Hilton Hotel Wedding]

A few weekends ago, I had the pleasure of shooting Mario and Stephanie Lopez's wedding. This was an exciting point in my photography career, because it was the first time I've ever been the head shooter at a wedding. I've second shot many beautiful weddings in the last couple years, and partnered with fabulous photographers. I'm so, so glad I did. The experience and training I received by working under those many talented photographers assisted me in every minute of the Lopez wedding. It all came so naturally, I honestly loved every second. To make it even better, my best friend (and incredible photographer) Nicole Michelle agreed to second shoot the wedding with me!

Mario and Stephanie were a wonderful couple to shoot. Capturing the little smiles and gazes they'd give each other throughout the day was the cutest thing. Their friends and family were so joyful and friendly, the laughter was never ending as the day went on. Photobucket

Stephanie was a sweetheart, and a beautiful bride. As she was getting her makeup & hair done, she kept smiling + beaming at random times. It was the sweetest thing, she was so excited. And then Mario and Stephanie saw each other for the first time that day. The two of them couldn't stop smiling for one second of the entire shoot at Black Hills. So in love. Photobucket

After a few hours of getting beautified, we headed over to Black Hills Park (where we took family + group pictures.) Stephanie had a single bridesmaid, making for a small bridal party. What got my attention was how personal everything was. The wedding was very family oriented, making the occasion comfortable & relaxed. Photobucket

After shooting at Black Hills Park, the wedding party and I headed over to the Hilton in North Washington D.C. The ceremony + reception were in the same room, giving the wedding a festive, upbeat feel. All the little decorations around the room were perfect, making for a beautiful wedding ceremony & lively reception. Photobucket
